It's not only completely free, with the next generation of split testers available (like the Evolutionary Splittester) that pretty much do all the testing and optimizing for you, there's no reason not to do it.

When just running a few different tests on my own site I increased my squeeze page conversion rate from 3.2% to over 12%, 4 x the profits :)</description>
