I saw the new Idearc Media commercial on ESPN. I noticed right away the www.superpages.com and the actual Verizon Yellow Pages Publisher status. Search Engine Marketing companies now will have a new player in the market. It is just a matter of time that Local Search Engines like www.CheckHouston.com will be the leaders in delivering information to the local user. Search Engine Optimizers are now trying to get listings in directories like www.CheckHouston.com . Idearc Media will be approached by Directory One, Inc. to be a partner in helping the SEO Industry learn about how this new player will do. The Search Marketing Community will need to know how to handle Idearc Media, and how to get in early on the great advertiser programs that Idearc Media will offer.
